Welcome to the Steve Paykel State Farm Agent office in West Bend, Wisconsin! I have been licensed in insurance since 1983 and became a State Farm Agent in 2009, bringing decades of experience to the conversations my team and I have with individuals, families, and business owners throughout Washington County and southeastern Wisconsin.

As a longtime West Bend resident and longtime small business owner, I understand this community from both a personal and business perspective. My insurance experience dates back to 1983, and in 2009 I began the next chapter of my career as a State Farm Agent. I am also a longtime small business owner, so I understand firsthand the work, decisions, and changing responsibilities that come with running a business.

West Bend is home for me, too. As a longtime resident, I have had the opportunity to build relationships throughout Washington County while watching the area grow and change over the years. That local connection, combined with decades of insurance experience, shapes the way I approach conversations with customers today.

I have also earned the FSS and LUTCF professional designations. Experience extends across our office as well, with our longest tenured team members having worked alongside me for five years. Together, we focus on listening, answering questions, and helping customers better understand the options available to them.

Outside the office, I enjoy fishing and boating with my wife, children, and grandchildren. Boating in particular is one of my favorite ways to spend time with my family and enjoy Wisconsin.

I also stay connected to the local arts community through Musical Masquers West Bend and Kettle Moraine Playhouse in nearby Slinger, where you may even see me performing on stage. These connections give me another opportunity to spend time with the people and communities that make Washington County home.

Fall around West Bend and Washington County does not last long before Wisconsin winter arrives.
